At Under One Roof, your building inspection is carried out personally by me, Alastair, a licensed QBCC inspector with over 30 years’ hands-on experience in construction.

What I Inspect

All inspections are carried out in accordance with Australian Standard AS 4349.1.

Your building inspection includes a detailed assessment of:

  • Roof exterior and roof space (where accessible)

  • Walls, ceilings, floors, doors, and windows

  • Subfloor and foundations (where accessible)

  • Wet areas including bathrooms, laundries, and kitchens

  • Garages, carports, decks, stairs, fences, and retaining walls

  • Visible signs of movement, cracking, moisture ingress, or poor workmanship

Where required, I also use moisture meters and thermal imaging to help identify hidden issues.
