What I Inspect

All inspections are carried out in accordance with Australian Standards AS 4349.1 (Building) and AS 4349.3 (Pest).

Building Inspection Includes:

  • Roof exterior and roof space (where accessible)

  • Walls, ceilings, floors, doors, and windows

  • Subfloor and foundations (where accessible)

  • Wet areas including bathrooms and laundries

  • Garages, carports, decks, stairs, fences, and retaining walls

  • Visible signs of movement, cracking, moisture, or poor workmanship

Pest Inspection Includes:

  • Evidence of active termites or past termite damage

  • Timber pest activity (borers, fungal decay, etc.)

  • High-risk and conducive conditions

  • Moisture-prone areas that attract termites

  • Practical prevention advice

I also use thermal imaging and moisture detection tools to help identify issues that aren’t visible to the naked eye.
